Hey guys, today I have a large set of free abstract crystal textures from the East part of Iceland. This type of crystal is called Quartz and is a mineral made out of silicon and oxygen. With many varieties of quartz minerals found around the world, this particular one is called rock crystal.
These rock crystal textures are filled with details and dirt, making them perfect to use as backgrounds and overlays. The crystals also resemble blocks of dirty ice, so it’s not strange that the Romans believed quartz to be water ice, permanently frozen after great lengths of time.
