Hey guys, today I have a brand new set of free grunge overlay textures that I created from various paint and concrete surfaces. In case you are new to overlays, it’s a technique where you blend together images to create a background or a worn and vintage effect on your photos. This is usually done with programs like Adobe Photoshop, where you insert the texture on it’s own layer above and change the layer mode to make the texture blend in. There are plenty of great video tutorials on Youtube on how to add overlays to your images.
Here is an example on how I added one of the overlays as a background to an image of a young woman.
This 100% free pack contains 30 high resolution overlay textures that you can use for both personal and commercial work. The textures can be downloaded from Dropbox via the links below.
