Grunge Wood and Tar Paper Textures

Grunge Wood and Tar Paper Textures

Hey guys, I’m back with a brand new set of grunge wood and tar paper textures. The images are from deteriorated interior walls of an old naval structure from the 1940’s. The ripped tar paper exposing the wood in the background, streaks of white spray paint and general dirt has created a gloomy surface like no other.

I decided to add some blue coloring in post-processing, also increasing the contrast and lowering the exposure. The result is a much more darker and gloomy surface that will suit well for creating a grunge effect. You can use these textures as overlays to make your photos and designs worn out and grunge, or you can use them as they are for background elements. Either way, you’ll get a good dark background where you can add text and images.

You can download the images by clicking the previews below. Or you can use the Dropbox link at the bottom of the post. Personal and Commercial usage is allowed. Enjoy the textures!
