Old Wooden Ship Hull Textures

Old Wooden Ship Hull Textures

Hey guys, I’m back with a new set of old wooden ship hull textures from a wrecked fishing boat. I have no idea how long the boat has been laying there, probably a few years by the look of it. With a part of the deck missing, the exposed wooden hull had some great details. The peeling paint and oily soaked wood blended with the rust from the nails made it quite interesting to shoot.

The textures I’m posting today are from the back side of the hull. They seemed much cleaner than the front, which was hard to get to and I didn’t want to get too dirty. Boat oil is a pain when you get it on your clothes.

As you can see from the images below, I decided to get up close and capture the details of the wood. As a result I bring you 10 high resolution images that you can use for whatever you want.

Enjoy this freebie and please let me know what you think of these textures.
