Looking back on the year 2016 all I can say it was a busy year, working on the new design and launching it in November. The blog also got a face lift although I’m always tweaking it with small changes. It’s always fun to look back and see what images are the most popular stock photos on the site, what categories are most viewed and what search terms are the most popular.
Although we don’t have the exact downloads per year, we get a pretty good idea from our traffic logs what pages are the most popular. Many of the top stock photos are featured in Photoshop/Illustrator tutorials from popular websites and that explains why they are downloaded and viewed so often. Our lovely users add thousands of really great photos each year and last year we have indexed over 28.000 public domain images from various CC0 sources and will continue to add more this year.
