Rain is often the bane of photographers. It presents a threat to cameras and other gear, causes disruptions to photography expeditions, and brings cloudy skies that often causes low, unappealing lighting conditions.
However, for the enterprising photographer, rain can also bring some great photographic opportunities. It brings a variety of moods to a photograph, creates the potential for rainbows, and adds a bit of motion to photographs.
