Vivid Red – 10 Free Rust Textures

Hey guys, today I have a new set of free rust textures from an old shipping container. This red metallic container caught my eye with it’s old and rusty sides. A perfect rusty surface without dents and other colors interfering always makes a nice set of images to share. After playing around with a few…

    Free Rusty Grunge Textures

For this week I have a really nice set of free rusty grunge textures from the same old fish factory walls as the grunge concrete wall textures I posted a couple of weeks ago. The windows have been closed shut with old plywood and the rust from the corroded window fixtures is running down the…

Free Texture Friday – Corrugated Metal Textures

I finally got a chance to go out and scout for places to shoot new textures. We’ve been having very bad weather lately so I haven’t been tempted to venture out looking until this week. I came upon an old shed in the middle of town that looked interesting. After checking it out, the first…

Free Texture Friday – Rusty Chain

On one of my “texture” walks I came upon this old and Rusty Chain down by the harbor that was used to anchor some old rubber tiers to a pole. What caught my eye was that the chain was so cracked with rust and corrosion that it looked like it was going to burst into…

Free Texture Friday – Rusty Metal

My brother took me out to this old abandoned farmhouse recently for the sole purpose of shooting textures. I found a treasure trove of old rusty metal, broken glass, burned wood, and many other great textures. Unfortunately I ran out of light and didn’t get to shoot everything I wanted, but I’ll definitely be making…
